Ruaka |
The second day of the Shin-Kiba 2DAYS kicked off with a singles match between Saki Kashima and Ruaka. This one-on-one match between Kashima and Ruaka is a surprisingly rare encounter. Will Kashima be able to show the dignity of an Artist Champion, and how far will the 14-year-old Ruaka push Kashima?
Both fighters shook hands and the bell rang. However, Ruaka raised his hand and provoked Kashima, saying, "Moyashi, come on." When Kashima tried to respond, Ruaka switched hands. Kashima grabbed Ruaka's arm, and Ruaka regained control, resulting in a struggle for the arms. Kashima landed a series of stomps and then attacked by hooking Ruaka's left arm over the ropes. Kashima locked Ruaka's arm and then locked his legs, arching them upwards. Ruaka blocked an elbow and countered with an elbow of his own. Ruaka landed a series of punches, and Kashima responded with an arm whip and a series of big boots. Just as Ruaka was about to go for a third, the JAN team in his corner asked the referee to check on him. The referee checked the condition of Ruaka's shoulder and called for the bell to ring. The match ended with a TKO victory for Kashima (referee stoppage)

The Oedo Tai team, consisting of Kagetsu, Hazuki, and Jamie Hayter, will face off against the Hanan sisters. The day before, the Oedo Tai team brought in a new member, X (whose identity is unknown). What kind of strategy will they employ in this match?
The Hanan sisters carefully fold their judo uniforms. When Kagetsu is called, blue and white paper streamers fly, and Kagetsu performs a routine where she is wrapped in paper streamers like Iwatani. Referee Murayama encourages the three sisters, saying, "Good luck." An angry Kagetsu sends them off saying, "Today, Hazuki will do it all by herself." Then the three sisters all attack Hazuki. Rinami and Hinami step back, and Hanan puts Hazuki in a reverse Boston crab. Rinami stomps on Hazuki's back. Hinami delivers a series of dropkicks to Hazuki. When Hazuki doesn't fall, Hinami delivers a series of elbows. Then she takes her down with a dropkick. Hinami tries to do a body slam, but Hazuki slams her onto the mat instead. However, the three sisters don't allow Hazuki to tag. Rinami goes for a dropkick, but Hazuki dodges it. Hazuki counters with a double chop. Once again, the three sisters don't let Hazuki tag. Cornering her, the three sisters delivered a series of dropkicks. Rina and Hinami applied an armbar, and Hanan applied a figure-four leglock. Then Nao Yamaguchi, who was in her corner, interfered and broke up the hold. Kagetsu and others came out, but the referee did not allow the tag. Rina and Hinami pushed Hazuki down and delivered a double brainbuster. Hanan locked Hazuki in a neck lock. Rina and Hinami prevented the Oedo Tai from interfering. Hazuki escaped, but Hanan went for a major outer reaping throw followed by a monkey flip. Hazuki countered, and Hanan went for an armbar. Kagetsu and Hayter couldn't take it any longer and came to break it up. Rina and Hinami slammed Kagetsu and Hayter onto the mat. It was Hanan and Hazuki in the ring again. Rina tagged in and rolled her up. Hinami tagged in again and applied a Gedo Clutch. Hanan rolled up Hazuki. Hazuki managed to counter this as well. Kagetsu and Hayter try to pull the sisters back, but the sisters stop them. Nevertheless, the Oedo Tai take the sisters outside the ring. Kagetsu and Hayter deliver a double elbow to Hanan. Hayter lifts Hanan up and Kagetsu delivers a face crusher, followed by a double kick from Hazuki. Hanan kicks out and Hayter tries to apply an armbar. Hanan rolls up Hazuki when she counters. Hanan delivers a series of elbows, but Hazuki counters with a codebreaker. Hazuki declares she's going for the finish with a big boot and throws Hanan forward. However, the sisters manage to break it up. Hazuki puts Hanan in a face lock and Hazuki wins by submission

Queen's Quest and JAN will face off in an 8-woman tag team elimination match. This will also be Saya Iida's first main event. Momo & Utami and Kyoka & Natsuko have been competing for the Goddess of Mercy titles in Korakuen Hall last November and in Osaka this January. Momo's team won the title at Korakuen and defended it in Osaka, but have suffered consecutive losses to Kyoka's team. For Kyoka's team, Momo's team is a thorn in their side. They will want to unleash their determination to win the tag team belts once again in this match and make the current champions take notice..
Kyoka and AZM volunteer to start the match. Kyoka calls out to AZM, "Aren't you unhappy about something?" and holds out her hand. "Come on, let's do this together," Kyoka says with a smile. However, she quickly changes her tune and attacks AZM with a JAN. Kyoka carries both of them on her back, and Yoneyama pushes them, giving AZM a body press. She then lifted her up in an Argentine backbreaker, spun around, and slammed her down with a Charrack Bomb. The referee counted to three, giving Utami the last one standing and the victory to QQ
Utami: "Yes, QQ won again today! Momo and I will be at Korakuen Hall for Goddess. We couldn't have a preliminary match for Goddess, but I think we were able to gain some good momentum from today's match against JAN. AZM-senpai and QQ's AZM-senpai also have High Speed next up, so today's match gave them some great momentum. Do you have anything to say about your aspirations?"
AZM: "I wasn't planning on joining JAN today either. It's okay, I won't be joining JAN. I want to continue as the commander of QQ. In the preliminary match for High Speed at Korakuen Hall, I got a clean three-count against the champion. I want to end it with the same result."
Shimi: "So, I'd like to wrap things up today. Believe in the present? Shine in tomorrow? You decide for yourself who to believe in. Bow down to the queens!"
QQ's comments
Utami: "We Queen's Quest were able to win again today, and I think this is a great momentum for QQ as we head into our next match at Korakuen Hall. There was no preliminary match between me and Momo as Goddesses. It's great to feel the challengers' motivation. In the next title defense, Momo and I will do our best to defend the belts."
AZM: "I fell off the top rope this time, but at the next Korakuen Hall event, Hazuki-chan will finally have an opponent worthy of High Speed, so I want to show everyone the High Speed that you've all been waiting for."
